About Me

I am a 36-year-old mom of two. I have smart and sassy eight-year-old daughter and a goofy four-year-old son with a heart of gold. I’m married to my college sweetheart who dragged me away from my native New England to his homeland of Texas (if you want to hear his side of the story, you can check out his wonderful blog here).

I have worked in higher education fundraising for over a decade, first at Cornell University and now as the Director of the Office of Loyalty Giving at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. Having worked in this industry for a while, I also have the great fortune of being invited to speak regularly about fundraising at national and international conferences. Though I love my career, the best job I ever had was working in the tasting room at a winery in the Finger Lakes while in graduate school and I will attempt to work that fact into almost any conversation I have.

I have been a believer in Christ for nine years and am actively working to be a better follower of Christ. My husband and I serve at Compass Christian Church by co-leading our community group and my daughter and I serve in the nursery once a month as well. I don’t have all the answers, but I welcome the questions.

Oh. And I drink a LOT of coffee.
